I use these clips all the time! They stick to just about anything, wood, metal, even painted surfaces -- without poking holes! The clips hold one sheet of paper or several. I keep one stuck to my computer monitor, that I use for papers I need to reference while I work. They're also perfect for hanging posters and calendars - anything that's not really heavy.
And the best part is .... when you want to move them, just a quick twist, and they come right off, leaving no holes (maybe some wax-residue, but that cleans off really easily) or marks.
